Hunters in Texas are no strangers to feral hogs. They are an extreme nuisance to farmers and ranchers alike tearing up fields and fences. They also multiply like rabbits. This has led to the creation of some "interesting" hunting possibilities in Texas rural areas.
Abraham Lincoln issued the first Presidential pardon of a turkey, but it had nothing to do with Thanksgiving. Lincoln's son, Tad took a liking to the live turkey that had been delivered to the White House. He even named him Jack.
